Royal Welsh Spring Festival 2018
The first major show of the season took place at the Royal Welsh Showground recently. With fabulous weather, the show was an excellent opener and the Black Welsh Classes were amongst the largest of the whole event.  The judge, Glenda Hughes, picked a shearling ram from EO Williams as her champion and the reserve went to the breeding ewe from Dyfed and Rowena Rowlands. Black Welsh Mountains take the Reserve Supreme Title at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair.
A pair of ewe lambs were awarded the Reserve Supreme Championship at this year's 2017 Royal Welsh Winter Fair.
