Black Welsh Mountain Sheep Breeders' Association
I heard this week that Mr Thomas G. Wyman passed away recently. For those that are not aware, he was the original importer of Black Welsh Mountain sheep into the USA and then to Canada. Without him, none of breeders in North America would have Black Welsh Mountains.
Will Workman visited Tom’s flock in 2004, as did Margaret Brain and Ted Williams (although separately).
American breeders owe Tom a great debt and his leadership was critical to getting the Breeder's Association going after a terrible initial start with another person handling it.
