Black Welsh Mountain Breeders on the island of Ireland are looking to bring in new bloodlines from mainland UK, but current import rules dictate that any animals entering have to be from scapie monitored flocks or must've been individually genotyped and found to be Group 1 ARR/ARR.
If anyone is testing their rams for scrapie genotypes, or may be interested in doing so, please contact the office so that you can be out in touch with the Irish breeders who need to replace their tups.
