Royal Welsh 2018

The 2018 Royal Welsh saw nearly 150 entries in the Black Welsh Mountain Section making it the second largest Native Breed at this year's show. The judge was former BWMSBA President, Mr Dewi Evans and his pick of the bunch for Female and Breed Champion was Will Workman's shearling ewe  from the Fedw flock (see top of page). 

The Male Champion took the Reserve spot, a shearling ram from Edd Williams, Wenallt Flock. This tup has won elsewhere this year including the RWAS Spring Festival. 

The winning group this year was from Dyfed and Rowena Rowlands Anglesey based Gaer Flock.
